12 Foot Telescopic "Cane Pole" Fishing Rod
Remember fishing with a bamboo cane? You could pinpoint where to place your line with a cane, (under overhanging tree branches and brush, or within underwater structures), but you're limited to the length of fishing line (which is usually the length or the pole). The worst part about a cane pole is when you hook a large fish, you don't have enough line to play them out and the line usually breaks. This rod allows you to attach a fishing reel. You could still pinpoint your line, but now you could drop your bait 10, 20 ,30 feet (or as far as you need to go), and you now have drag and enough line to play out a large fish. Or you could amaze your friends by whipping out one hell of a cast and de-spooling your reel :o)
